Synapse Flex LLC (Synapse Flex, ‘we’, ‘our’ or ‘us’) is an established in 2007 custom software development company with in-depth expertise across the number of industries and extensive experience in the market.  

We are the controller and processor concerning the personal data processed in accordance with this policy.

We do not store sensitive personal information, such as mailing addresses, account passwords, etc. in the cookies we use.

When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize it, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

In Short: We may transfer, store, and process your information in countries other than your own. 

 

Our servers are located in the EU, USA, and Ukraine. If you are accessing our Websites from outside of the mentioned countries, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed by us in our facilities and by those third parties with whom we may share your personal information, in the EU, USA, Ukraine, and other countries.

If you are a resident in the European Economic Area, then these countries may not have data protection or other laws as comprehensive as those in your country. We will however take all necessary measures to protect your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable law. 

Such measures implementing the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers of personal information between our group companies and between us and our third-party providers, which require all such recipients to protect the personal information that they process from the EEA in accordance with European data protection laws. Our Standard Contractual Clauses can be provided upon request. We have implemented similar appropriate safeguards with our third-party service providers and partners and further details can be provided upon request.

In Short: We do not knowingly collect data from or market to children under 18 years of age. 

  

We do not intentionally solicit data from or market to children under 18 years of age. By using this website, you represent that you are at least 18 or that you are the parent or guardian of such a minor and consent to such minor dependent’s use of the site. If we learn that personal information from users less than 18 years of age has been collected, we will take reasonable measures to promptly delete such data from our records. If we are relying on your consent to process your personal information, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Please note however that this will not affect the lawfulness of the processing before its withdrawal. 

  

GDPR 

If you are an individual in the European Economic Area (EEA), we collect and process information about you only where we have legal bases for doing so under applicable EU regulations.  The legal bases depend on which and how you use our services. This means we collect and use your information only where: 

  • We need it to provide you the services, including to operate the services, provide customer support and personalized features and to protect the safety and security of the services;

California Online Privacy Protection Act 

CalOPPA is the first state law in the nation to require commercial websites and online services to post a privacy policy. The law’s reach stretches well beyond California to require any person or company in the United States (and conceivably the world) that operates websites collecting Personally Identifiable Information from California consumers to post a conspicuous privacy policy on its website stating exactly the information being collected and those individuals or companies with whom it is being shared. 

  According to CalOPPA, we agree to the following: 

  • Users can visit our site anonymously. 
  • Once this Privacy Policy is created, we will add a link to it on our homepage or as a minimum, on the first significant page after entering our website. 
  • Our Privacy Policy link includes the word ‘Privacy’ and can easily be found on the page specified above. 
  • You will be notified of any Privacy Policy changes on our Privacy Policy Page. 
  • You can change your personal information by chatting with us, sending us a message via the contact form or emailing us. 

   

  1. DATA BREACH

A privacy breach occurs when there is unauthorized access to or collection, use, disclosure, or disposal of personal information. You will be notified about data breaches when Synapse Flex believes you are likely to be at risk or serious harm. For example, a data breach may be likely to result in serious financial harm or harm to your mental or physical well-being. In the event that Synapse Flex becomes aware of a security breach which has resulted or may result in unauthorized access, use or disclosure of personal information Synapse Flex will promptly investigate the matter and notify the applicable Supervisory Authority not later than 72 hours after having become aware of it unless the personal data breach is unlikely to result in a risk to the rights and freedoms of natural persons. 

  

  1. CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES

In Short: No uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals 

  

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. No uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this Privacy Policy. 

    

  1. DO CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS HAVE SPECIFIC PRIVACY RIGHTS?

In Short: Yes, if you are a resident of California, you are granted specific rights regarding access to your personal information. 

  

California Civil Code Section 1798.83, also known as the “Shine The Light” law, permits our users who are California residents to request and obtain from us, once a year and free of charge, information about categories of personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes and the names and addresses of all third parties with which we shared personal information in the immediately preceding calendar year.
